Dark Uprising in Hive Mortis - The rules
Starting rules
Welcome to the first post here for the Dark Uprising Campaign
We will do this in 2 week cycles, I'll try to hold one gaming day at the start of each cycle where people can play their games with anyone on site and knock out as many games as possible.
The campaign will be in 3 parts
1. Insurrection phase - 3 cycles
2. Downtime - 1 cycle
3. Damnation phase- 3 cycles
We will try the challenge mechanic out, so at the end of each cycle, I'll post on the facebook page and people will be able to get their challenges in. The order will be as stated in the campaign rules, so in the first cycle it will be a random order, then the gang with the lowest gang rating goes first and then in ascending order.
Building your gang
- All gangs are available.
- All gangs start with 1000 credits.
- NO alliances, things are going down the drain and the guilds are getting out of there.
- When building a gang, choose what side you are affiliated with, se attached document for rules
- Order, Chaos or Unaligned. - 3 territories will be given to each gang as they are added to the campaign, you will not normally loose these during the campaign unless you loose a fight AND you have more than 3 times more models going Out of Action than the opponent. You only count Out of Action, not fleeing or leaving the battlefield in any other way.
- If this is the case, the winner takes control of one random territory of the looser. - Territories will only generate income at the start of each cycle, so in the post battle sequence of your first game for the cycle you generate income and potential extra fighters. But any following games will not generate income from your territories during that cycle.
- Creds will be scarce, make every single one count.
- The trading post will be available, during each cycle there might be restrictions, but it starts out just as normal.
- You will be able to gather Meat in the insurrection phase, but only as scenario awards or from territories, no gang is desperate enough yet to eat their fellow ganger until the Damnation phase.
Playing the campaign
- During the campaign you will not be able to swap sides between Chaos and Order, once you have taken a stand, you stand by it.
- But if there is a really good reason born out of the games played, state your case and the group will be the judges. - Unaligned players my choose one side at any time during the campaign, but once chosen, you stand with them.
- When determining scenario, use the table in the document provided or this alternative list from Goonhammer
2D6 Result Scenario Options
2-5 Disruption Meat Harvest / Blood Rites / Search & Destroy
6-7 Destruction Takeover / Sabotage / Border Dispute
8-9 Death Match Stand-off / The Trap / Ambush

Come talk to me and will make sure you get some help. Yours truly have a awful lot of miniatures that need some table time... ;)
Things to keep a tally on
- The total number of Meat you have generated during the whole campaign
- Your reputation
- The number of kills you have inflicted on your fellow gangs, this is kills as in rolling 66 on the injury table or unsaved prisoners that you converted to a stew
- The number of fighters in your gang that got killed as above
And last but not least, report every game played to your arbitrator of choice.
